Our beliefs are very powerful and we mostly form them subconsciously during our childhood. Core beliefs are hardened, rock-like thoughts and assumptions usually based on early choices and decisions that are likely long forgotten. Yet they go on, without our awareness, to influence most of our adult life.
I invite you to take a moment and reflect on those beliefs. What are your beliefs? What are the statements and thoughts you tell yourself regularly that drive your actions and behaviour? Are you even aware of them? Are they working for you?
Neither our beliefs nor our values are fixed for life and you can achieve significant improvements in your levels of happiness and growth by identifying and changing your limiting beliefs.
Is it time for you to take action in order to change your beliefs and therefore your destiny?
Do you feel stuck? As if life offers you little options? Do you feel stagnant, unmotivated and lacking the energy to go on? Do you feel unhappy, dissatisfied and unable to move forward? Have you lost your sense of purpose or feel as if you are not living and working to the best of your potential? Do you suffer from unfounded extreme emotions of sadness, anger, anxiety or fear? Do you feel lost and confused and have a sense of wanting to give up?
I am a certified Master Practitioner of NLP and currently studying Transactional Analysis (TA). By working with me, you will begin to understand how you think, how you feel, and how you make sense of everyday life in the world around you. Armed with this understanding, your whole life, personally and professionally, will profoundly change.
“ No way” said the lady incredulously, “She can’t be your daughter!” “Yes, she is,” insisted my stepmother, looking a bit uncomfortable. “Then why is she abdeh and you are not?” retorted the lady smugly. Abdeh is an Arabic word that literally means a slave. It is the word that ignorantly was and perhaps still is sometimes used to mean black.
